  1. I am in the "waiting game" right now waiting to have another scan in couple of days…..I don't know what to do, I don't know what to think….seen your video make me feel not alone and seeing you had a lovely baby after this…..it gives me a bit of hope in one way or the other. Thank you to share it xx

  2. Wow Jess I just commented on another video of yours on your teaching channel. But seriously we have such similar stories! I was in a bad car accident on my way to work (also a teacher) on August 10, 2018. My car was totaled, I had to go to the ER. I was only about 6 weeks pregnant at the time. They couldn't see anything wrong at the time, but it was hard for them to see anything with me being only ~6 weeks pregnant. I ended up going to to ER on August 20th thinking I was having a miscarriage and they said everything was fine and sent me home. The next day I began bleeding heavily and went back to the ER and found out I was indeed having a miscarriage. It was the most painful thing, emotionally and physically, I have ever had to go through. I am now 27 weeks pregnant and due July 10th with our first baby boy. I just can't believe how similar our stories are!

  3. So sorry for your scare !!! I was 6 months pregnant with my first and was rear ended by two women and it was the most petrifying moment of my life ! … with my second I was given the wrong vaccine at 6 months so I totally understand how you felt in that moment it’s so scary

  4. I'm glad they explained that much. When I had a miscarriage (my 1st pregnancy) as well, they didn't even explain that the baby could have stopped growing at a point and my body didn't realize. I appreciate your candor. Thank you for sharing.

  5. This happened to my mom she was 3 months and the measured 1 month and she was confused the day after the visit she had a miscarriage

  6. I'm so sorry for your loss. I had a miscarriage at 3 wks I didn't even know I was pregnant. I know how painful it is. God bless you

  7. I am sorry for what you’re going through. With my first pregnancy (extremely planned and very wanted) at almost 13 weeks I was only measuring 10 weeks and so many days and ended up miscarrying unfortunately. I don’t have much advice because every person is different. Even if you believe everything happens for a reason, it’s hard to not understand the “why” and on Earth you may never get to know the “why”. Don’t drive yourself crazy wondering what happened. But hold fast to the promise that you will get to see you baby one day. I have a beautiful and perfect 2 year old daughter now but I still miss my first baby pretty much daily. Do whatever you and your husband need at this time. My midwife said the statistic is 1 in 4 and it’s usually the first pregnancy when your body is learning how to be pregnant. I’m hoping for good things to be sent your way.

  8. I don't know if you're aware, but it's very normal to measure ahead or behind what was originally predicted. In the midst of my second pregnancy with my daughter, I was told I was actually 4 weeks behind what I was originally told. And with my first pregnancy with my son, the entire pregnancy I was told he was measuring small, and I kept saying I thought it was just because they had predicted my due date wrong. So when it came due date time, due date came & went so they kept pressuring me to be induced as it can get potentially dangerous to allow a mother to go beyond the 42 week mark. But I declined as I wanted a natural birth (meaning no forcing it with induction hut allowing him to come when he was ready). Well my due date was April 26 and I didn't have my son until May 8. Exactly 2 weeks difference and he was 7lbs, 2oz and 20.5 inches long — a very normal, average size! So I was correct, the due date was wrong. Very normal.

  9. I don't know if it depends on the country, but i got my ultrasound and not yet 5 weeks. It was a little bean, but it was very visible. This may be off topic. I was just wondering why don't they always do these ultrasounds that early on?
