GESTATIONAL DIABETES / What I Ate in a Day + Glucose Test



hey guys welcome back again to our Channel it's nice to see you again it's been a long time so for today's video is going to be an update about my pregnancy I am now on my 32 weeks so two weeks ago I was diagnosed of having a gestational diabetes that's why I'm here to share with you and talk about with you guys my experience or what I know about the station of diabetes but before anything else don't forget to click the like below and please subscribe so all pregnant women like me should be screened around 28 weeks on gestational diabetes so first step is the one hour glucose test if you pass this test well and good but if not like me I didn't pass you will undergo the second step which is the three hour glucose test wherein you will fasting 8 to 12 hours so if you failed again like me that means you have a gestational diabetes so that's where I found I have a gestational diabetes because I failed the one hour glucose test and the three hour glucose test yes you heard it right I have a gestational diabetes so what do we need to know about the station of diabetes gestational diabetes it can cause complications like preeclampsia stillbirth blood sugar problems for the baby after delivery and then the baby is larger than normal so the best way to lower your risk for having a gestational diabetes is to stay healthy exercise more improve your diet and most especially is to eat healthy foods so since I have gestational diabetes my provider or my dietician discuss with me what are the foods do I need to eat or how many serving so I need to take for every meal like for fruit at least eat two servings per day for starch seven servings per day for fats limit to six servings per day for protein or the meat six or more ounces and then for vegetables six or more servings per day and then she also mentioned to avoid drinking milk on my breakfast and then eating cereals on my breakfast I have to avoid it so I can drink milk and then eat cereals but not in the morning or on my breakfast and then she also gave me a sample meal plan that I have to follow so for my breakfast I have to eat one card two protein one fats and then for morning snack one carbs one protein and then lunch afternoon snack and then dinner and then evening snack she also gave me a kit wherein I will test my blood sugar every day four times a day first is when I wake up in the morning second is after breakfast third is after lunch for it is after dinner and then she also gave me a blood sugar love book wherein I will record all the results of my blood sugar test so this is the results of my blood sugar before breakfast our first thing in the morning when I wake up and then after breakfast after lunch and then after dinner so my blood sugar should be on the range to 80 to 130 not below 80 or not exceeding or higher than 130 and then guys I will insert a video clip of what I eat in the morning lunch and then dinner so that's it guys thank you for watching I hope you enjoyed this video and I hope you learned something so see you again on my next one bye guys
