i went through Postpartum depression and i never spoke about it to anyone out of fear that i might be judged ,i just recently shared my experience with my mother and my child is almost 7.

  3. I am subscribed to your channel but don't get notifications anymore. Postpartum depression needs treatment. It is not just about being disciplined or snapping out of it. Your hormones and neurotransmitters are out of balance.

  4. People tend to confuse depression with sadness and its hard to explain depression to someone who doesn't know what it is. I find myself just putting on a face for those people and pretending to be someone I'm not just for their comfort. (Btw its Danielle 1st question :))

  5. How do you feel around your twin? Do you still feel the same around her as you did before the pregnancy? Is the connection and the bond still the same?

  6. Thank you so very much for sharing a part of your story.

I suffer from depression and anxiety as well. After i had my daughter, i didn’t know if i would survive… I had no one to help me, as my family lives in (Belize, where I’m from) so it was only me and my husband and he was lost himself. I made it through that and I’m thankful. My daughter is now 7 and EVERY year around her birthday I fall into a deep depression. It’s insanity, and a daily struggle; but i keep on pushing. 🙂

Again, thanks for sharing your story. 💜

  7. Ok I love you I also have mental ilness. I am from an old fashion Jamaican family. I am so glad u realize mental illness is a disease and medicine is ok to take.

  8. Hi Its So Nice To You First.. I Don't know Anything Much About This Illness And Im Sorry You And Ur Family Had To Go Thru It… May God Continue To Keep Ur Mind Free & Healthy. Stay Bless My Jamaican Sista

  9. You're very strong for making such a personal video. It's extremely important to share awareness on this topic so thank you for posting it ❤️

  10. I am not diagnose with anything, but I still see a counselor every other week. it help me cope with stressors in my life. Talking with her really help me, I feel like I'm a better person. Go and seek help if you want it, insurance most likely covers it.

  11. Postpartum is real and it's more common than what people would like to admit. I'm very proud that you're talking about it because it can be deadly if you don't seek help. Having a baby does a lot more to a woman's body than just physical change…It can also be mental. As a mother myself I went through this and it's hard but I got help and I had such a wonderful support team from my family, friends, and my church. So if you're going through this find someone to talk to because it will make a huge difference for you, your child and family. Anyway God Bless 😊
