  1. Love this story, we too had a preemie and he is now 22 years old. Seems like yesterday, God Bless..

  2. Just want to say that I'm a perfectly healthy adult who had IUGR πŸ™‚ My mom had a placental tear at 32 weeks and I was born at 42 weeks. Her body was trying to keep me in to get me to grow I guess. But at 42 weeks, I was the size of a 32 weeker because my growth had slowed down due to the lack of nutrients. I am now 19 with two children of my own and they were full term and 8 lb each! I am smart but I am only 4 foot 10 and was VERY small in weight my whole life. Reached 65 lbs by age 12 πŸ™‚

  8. That is SO sweet… At first I was thinking why dont they just kill it and try again for a healthy one, but the little bugger grew on me, or maybe it was Enrique…I dunno, God bless.
