  1. Thanks for this. I am following Metabolism Revolution by Haylie Pomroy and started right after my period. Lost 4.5 pounds and lots of inches in first 2 weeks. In the middle of the 2nd week, I had a cold and was not able to eat any food. So I had some comfort food to ease my cold. The result was gained all the pounds lost in 2 weeks and I am now stuck to my 124 pounds weight which I am in for last 5 to 6 months. I am having all the carb cravings in last few days and plateau is making me throw the towel. So this video is inspiring me to stay on the challenge. Let me see what will happen after this my cycle. Thanks again.

  2. thank you. very informative good video. this video is much better than those crap videos has tons of likes .

  3. This is super interesting! I definitely find my body behaves this way weight-wise every month too. I think remembering that will definitely help my mindset too.

  4. Love this! I am a long time Metabolic Effect fan and I use the Craving Cocoa regularly,it's definitely a product I reorder and use just about daily. Definitely a good recommendation when that happens. 😉

  5. Thanks for the info. It makes so much sense. I've been at a plateau for 2 weeks now. I was exclusively nursing up until that time and now my son is sleeping mostly through the night and is eating more solids. It may have triggered my first ovulation. I haven't had a period 17 months.

  6. Nili- I think it's awesome that those in the science community are acknowledging the effects of the menstrual cycle on weight loss. We women aren't just smaller men- as doctors for years have used as the premise in medication studies and the like. The fact that you found this info from two guys who did the research is wonderful!! As for the info itself- thank you for sharing. My doctor, female, has discussed this with me but your chart really spells it out. Understanding how our hormones change monthly allow us to work with our bodies. Very important!! Thanks for sharing. 🙂

  7. Fantastic video, Nili! I know this pattern to be true for me, for sure! I know I'll be about 4lbs up from my lowest right before my cycle starts again. I'm always able to spot the shifts when looking back, but I'm trying to get ahead of the shifts (at least mentally!) so I can prepare better for them. Good info, and I appreciate you doing a video on this!
