we start making a six single crochet magic ring we make the magic ring and make six single crochet in the magic ring you once we have the magic ring we have to make in the second row one increase around we have six stitches so we have to finish with 12 stitches in this row we have to make one increase on each stitch on the roll number three we have to make one single crochet and one increase we have to make one one single crochet and here one increase and repeat the same one single crochet and one increase and we have to repeat the same to the end of the row finishing with 18 stitches on the row number four we have to make two single crochet and 1 increase repeating around two single crochet and one increase finishing with 24 stitches in this case I am NOT going to make more increases if you go on ask a bigger sock you can continue making increases we finished here with two single crochet and one increase so you have to continue making three singles three single crochet and one increase for and one increase etc if you want to make a new board size you have to make a width of four and a half centimeters and 520 meters would be the length to the hill once we have the width of the sock we have to continue making one single crochet on each single crochet to have the length to the Hill one single crochet on eight on each single crochet to have the length to the hill remember in this case for a new world size we have to make five centimeters once we have the front part of the sock we are going to make the heel we leave the yarn to the right and place a marker in the middle of the back part take the crochet hook again chain one and turn we have to make now single crochet to the stitch marker one single crochet you need to stitch to the stitch marker you we make the last single crochet on the stitch where we had the marker and on the next stitch we have to make a slip stitch continue with chain one and turn and we continue making single crochet to the last stitch where we had a shame single crochet to the last stitch where we had the shame once we are at the last stage we have to make on the next stage of the front part we have to make a slip stitch chain one and turn again continue making single crochet to the other side where we have the chain one on the last stitch we have to make the last single crochet and make a slip stitch on the next stitch of the front part repeat the same chain one turn single crochet to the last stitch and we make one slip a stitch on the next stitch of the front part we continue working the hill to have the half of the stock with the hill and we have to stop on a row where we were going to the left because we are going to continue now with the front part and we won the stitches to the same side once we have the last slip stitch we have to continue making single crochet on all the stitches that we have we make a round again of single crochet we make single crochet and once we are at the last stitch of the front part we continue making single crochet on the hill single crochet on each single crochet of the hill and once we finished all the stitches of the hill we continue with single crochet on the first stitch of the front part we finished one round and we have to continue making runs to make the top part in this case I made four centimeters but if you want to make the socks larger you can continue making growth with single crochet once we finish the top part of the sock we have to make now an edge we are going to make a simple edge with the reverse single crochet or the crab stitch instead of making the next single crochet on the next stitch we have to go on the previous stitch we have to make the single crochet on the previous stitch and again make the single crochet on the previous stitch making the grab stitch or the reverse single crochet making this a stitch we are making a beautiful edge you you once we finished all the row with the crab stitch we have to turn and make a slip stitch finishing the edge let's remember all the steps of this sock we have to make the magic ring making the increases to have the width of the sock continue making rows with single crochet to have the length to the hill make the hill as I explained and then make rows with single crochet to have the size of the sock that you need and finishing with a row with the reverse single crochet following these steps you can make the sock on the size that you need and using any kind of yarn

  1. Your pattern on your website just say 'Merino.' I don't know what that means. Is this a worsted weight? Or a sports weight

  2. This started out to be a great tutorial. Then you stopped giving stitch counts. Where did you place the maker in “the middle of the back row”? Was it stitch 9 from the current row? What about the heel? Is it 8,9, 10 stitches until you slot?

  3. Love the pattern but would be helpful if the number of stitches after each round was given. Thanks again, love this pattern just a tiny bit hard to follow sometimes.

  4. Next time you might want to start your video telling people what size yarn and what size crochet hook.

  5. Thank you for posting such a clear and informative video! I’ve been wanting to make crochet socks for years and I finally did my first pair. The measurements in cm really helped me out a lot in figuring out if it was the right size. Do you have any measurements for adult socks?

  6. Thank you so much for this tutorial! I found this to be the easiest Newborn Sock pattern to do, and I tried several! My soon to be born grandson will look so cute in the socks I made! Thank you again!!

  7. This was the best tutorial i have found 🖒🏻🖒🏻🖒🏻🖒🏻👌🏻👌🏻
    Like if you agree

  8. I don't understand row 4' what do I have to do if you have 18 getting it to 24 it's only 6 extra this is confusing me.

  9. Great video! Have to say though, 4.5cm at the feet is too small for a newborn, maybe it's for an early or tiny baby? Typical newborn feet should be around 8cm on the 1st day.
Not sure this sock is supposed to be stretchy that's why it's made smaller? I used the same yarn as recommended though and it's not stretchy at all. Maybe I'm not doing something right.

  10. Wahoo…. I really love your video,it so easy but please always informed us about the yarn size and hook.
