1. I had 3 c-sections. My last was with twins. The twins were 12 lbs together. From the weight of the babies. My bladder flipped in front of my uterus and my doctor slit it when he cut for the surgery. He was the CEO of Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. He said he had trained for this his whole career and never had it happen until my surgery. I had to have my bladder repaired during my surgery. 2 hours turned into 5. But now my twins are 16. I cried watch your video. What us moms go through. Love your channel. I’m trying to catch up. Love your family. Good to see positive on social media. Thank you.

  2. There were a couple complications with the birth of my son, Callen. My normal doctor hadn’t realised how big my son was, and it wasn’t realised until he got stuck in the birth canal. He was 11lb 2oz, and it was a traumatising experience for me; one minute, there were 3 medical professionals in the room, the next minute, there were 10+, and that’s when I knew there was something seriously wrong. They all did their best to keep me calm, but with every contraction, his heart rate dipped. My son’s shoulder dislocated when they finally got him out, and he didn’t breathe for 4 minutes. His feet were so purple. His first scream was such a relief.
Callen is 4 now, and I’ll give it another 2 years so I can forget my last experience, before having another.
He was also so big that I bled badly because I tore so much.

  3. I'm new to your blogs so have gone back to the beginning. I love your family and can completely relate to the c sec feelings, it's surreal. I've started watching at James first birthday and gone back to the start 🤣🤣 I'm not normally a fan of "vlogging families" but you guys are so natural and yourselves I feel like your friend. Keep it up and stay happy ❤️
BTW your last few vlogs have had me in tears in a good way 😢😢🤣😂🤣❤️💋

I had my C-section due to previous health issues I have but also there were issues unknown of from the beginning. When my son Noah came out his umbilical cord was formed in a true Knot and my health issue is epileptic Seizers and I had 3 during c section and 3 post operation in recovery room so if I were to deliver vaginally Noah and/or I wouldn't of made it. Thank God for my mother's intuwishion to stay with the C-section!

  5. I so agree with the epidural docs are angels from God!!! I did tell mine I loved him and asked if he would marry me lol!!! Yes he got it and understood, said he gets that all the time!! 😂🤣

  6. Both of y'alls children are absolutely beautiful and so are both of you! Just quite a lovely little family! I'm so glad I found y'all!

  7. Wow thanks for sharing that. I will never forget that but if information. If I ever need a csection, I will obsess over the 7 layers!

By the way I just had my first baby, a little girl last year and her name is Josephine! I just adore your daughters entire name 🙂

  8. Anastisiologist are the BEST!! I was like Ashley, they gave me the epidural during a strong contraction so I didn’t feel the needle going in. So happy for you! She is just a sweetie.

  9. OMG!!!! That is scary!!! I think you guys should file a lawsuit against that doctor because if it wasn't for you having a second section then, you would of never known about those 3 issues and thinking that you could of had complications in the future. I would really look into it. I had 3 csections and my first experience was just like yours and I also had staples and it was just all bad. But my second and third, they were very easy and didn't have much pain like the first one. I'm so glad that you and the baby are doing well and I'm all happy for you and your family!! Congratulations!!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤

  10. I started watching you guys when I found out I was pregnant and realized we were due around the same time. I am currently watching this in the hospital after having an unexpected cesarean. “Sewing yo all may layers” made me laugh so hard that I had to hold everything in place to not be in pain. Thanks for sharing your story and making me laugh while I’m trying to stay awake to let my husband get some needed sleep.

  11. So glad everything turned out positive! Love these hospital and early day videos! Getting me excited for mine 😊

  12. Thank goodness everything worked out ok. Hope you’re healing up well!

Isn’t it amazing how quickly your body feels so much better when baby is out of you?! That’s exactly how I felt when I had my last baby. 🤗

  13. The same thing happened to my bladder but mine tore in surgery! My original OB was called in to show him. He didn’t seem to care. Glad they were able to fix you up

  14. She looks a lot like George. I’m glad they were able to fix your insides. My sister had her gallbladder removed before she became pregnant and her 2 pregnancies caused hernias that drs did not find for many years.

  15. I am so glad this time was better and he fix what the last lazy one did. Love that u keep us updated on your family makes me feel part of it ❤️❤️

  16. Wow! Praise the Lord for good doctors!!!!! And thank the Lord you're ok!!! I love you guys soooo much!!!

  17. I'm so glad you had this dr this time around. It sounds like he really was on the ball with things. Baby james is so beautiful❤ congratulations you guys🌹🤗💖💗
